Introducing the Steico range of I Joists: A lightweight joist made from 2 solid timber flanges top and bottom, both machine stress graded and finger jointed to a high quality, with the web being made of high grade natural fibreboard. All this amounts to high tensile strength and high shear capacity. I Beams have revolutionised the way we build floors today. Using I Joists means an end to floors that squeak due to the natural tendency of traditional joists to twist and warp and resulting in costly call outs for snagging etc. At Glosford we have chosen the Steico range for its extra strength properties, its consistent product dimensions and it’s competitiveness over rival I Joists alternatives.
